The October 2019 Upraising in Iraq brought up to the surface the sufferers, one of whom is the “Tissue Seller”. She sells tissue papers in the streets of Baghdad, Iraq to make a living. The brave young lady scarified her life to help young men by donating the tissues to them in order to protect them from the tear gas.

خبأت في جوف الحكاية جوعي
وتكلمت عني سحاب دموعي
لو كانت الثورات تأتي غفوة
لحلمت ان الموت بين ضلوعي
تدري مناديلي بأن بياضها
يمحو سواد الليل حين رجوعي
