About the Author:

هذه الرواية الآسرة هي قصة حديثة تلتقط التوترات بين التقاليد القديمة وبين التكنولوجيا الجديدة والتفكير الحديث، فهي تتيح للقراء فرصة اكتشاف الاختلافات المدهشة في العالم العربي، حيث تتحدث عن ثقافة الانتقال من القديم إلى الجديد والأضرار الجانبية التي يمكن أن تحدث.
تدرو أحداث الرواية حول حياة الطالبة الجامعية الإماراتية نورا المليئة بالندم. فهي تركت خلفها حب حياتها، شاعر كويتي، كي تلبي رغبة عائلتها في ان تتزوج من ابن عم بعيد.
لا يكاد يمر يوم على نورا إلا وهي تفكر بشاعرها. وبعد 26 سنة، ماتزال في حيرة ممّا إذا كانت قد اتخذت القرار الصحيح. هل يجب عليها الاتصال بحبيبها القديم من خلال وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي؟ لكنها تتساءل، “هل مايزال يتذكرني كما أتذكره؟”

نبذة عن المؤلفة: أسماء الزرعوني كاتبة وروائية إماراتية من مواليد الشارقة. حاصلة على درجة البكالوريوس في التربية وترتبط بعدة مؤسسات أدبية، فهي نائبة رئيس اتحاد كتاب وأدباء الإمارات وعضو مؤسّس في رابطة أديبات الإمارات وسفيرة المجلس الإماراتي لكتب اليافعين. نشرت الكاتبة أكثر من 17 كتاباً. شبّهت أسماء روايتها برحلة حب يحدّها ولاء مذهل، وقامت بإهداء ترجمتها إلى الكتّاب والمفكّرين حول العالم، آملة ان تساهم في بناء جسور ثقافية عالمية من خلال الأدب.
هذه الرواية المترجمة صدرت باللغة العربية عام 2015 بعنوان “لا تقتلني مرتين” عن دار النشر الكويتية نوفا بلس.
مترجم الكتاب: تولّى ترجمة الرواية الأديب السعودي عبد الله الطيب و هو روائي وكاتب قصة قصيرة ومترجم من مواليد المدينة المنورة، حاصل على بكالوريوس في الهندسة الكيميائية ودكتوراه في إدارة الأعمال. نشر كتابين مترجمين هما مختارات من القصص القصيرة لكتّاب عرب، كما نشر رواية بعنوان “كانت سلاماً فقط”. وقد نشر أيضًا الكثير من المقالات والأبحاث في دوريات محكّمة. altaiyeb@live.com.
