CAPITALIS REINVENTS ITSELF AND THE WEST REAPS THE FRUITS OF ITS DESTRUCTION OF THE PLANET, repeating its exploitation of the fruits of the first and second industrial revolutions by cancelling out or degrading and making obsolete the tools, machines and structures that the first industrial revolution produced, in order to replace them by the tools it, Capitalism, is inventing, and is aspiring to invent, in order to drive the third industrial revolution which is deceptively called ‘a green industrial revolution’. And once more, it is the Anglo-Saxons who are playing the role of THE GODFATHER AND INVENTOR OF THE FUTURE FOR HUMANITY AND THE PLANET AND THE SPACE WE INHABIT.
Sadly, all this is happening, masquerading as a sudden devotion to save the earth, while the rest of the world doesn’t see the game, and is even expressing admiration for the theatrical skills of Boris Johnson and Joe Biden. Furthermore, the West revives capitalism for its own benefit and in the service of its own interests on every level from the purely financial to the military to the invasion of space for which America’s billionaires have built up the infrastructure to exploit and have set up the commercial companies for that purpose and have, each of them, already enjoyed floating in his own space crafts. Thus, the West in striving to achieve this revival of capitalism (which had been undergoing a truly deep crisis in the later part of the twentieth century) invoked its intellectual power and technological knowledge, embodied in individuals like the (sadly) Syrian Steve Job, Bill gates, the guy who set up Google, and the other fellow who set up some chip making company. The early outcome of their efforts has been the semi-industrial, but basically technological, invention of the computer in its advanced version and finally the internet. This outcome gas enriched many, including the USA government, but did not offer a genuine revolution that could solve the ageing problems of a West that was going through a process of decay morally, politically, culturally, and militarily as it was facing competition from rising stars like the rejuvenated Russia and the still communist or capitamunist China. To push things forward, the West is now reviving its traditional ideological and semi-philosophical world view by asserting that the state cannot provide the means to develop the new tools and instruments to bring about the new revolution; only private companies, private capital, has the trillions of dollars that are required to bring about this third industrial revolution that will renew or revitalize Capitalism and the West in the face of the rising power of Commu-capitalism (communist capitalism), which is shaped and produced by the state, embodied so far in China.
Therefore, passionate calls, strong, pleading voices, like that of Boris Johnson, Jo Biden and Elon Mask, Jeff Bezos, Larry Page and Sundar Pichai of Google, and the giant American Banks and hedge funds, as well as Apple and other beasts, all these voices rise to assert that private capital will have to take the lead and be the saviour not only of capitalism or the West but also the planet that they need in order for them to survive and enjoy their supremacy, affluence and other carnal pleasures.
And this has been so blatantly imposed on the Cop 26 conference in Glasgow, stamped by the presence of a huge number of capitalist companies and CEOs of hedge funds and corrupt financial investment giants and openly accepted by the majority of countries in the world as an unquestionable fact without which the human race has no chance of surviving on our planet. Thus, the West re-plays the same game: It gives money to the third world (on condition that it buys the West’s technological products) while it exploits the natural resources of the underdeveloped countries, from sun to water to rare earth metals, in order to generate clean energy, just as the Wet has been doing for at least a century. By so doing, the West controls the world and reaps the benefits and gets the final product i.e. the clean energy, to produce more technology to sell to the world as a commodity without ever allowing that world to possess the means and knowledge to produce that clean energy by itself.
Tragically, this is exactly what they did with the natural resources of the world which fed and powered the second industrial revolution like oil and gas whereby they did the exploration and drilling, they extracted the oil and gas, they owned the oil and gas in the shape of their gigantic companies and they fought wars and overturned governments and caused civil wars in many, many countries, in order to appropriate all sources of production and wealth and build their affluence and ruin the climate of our planet. They used the raw material with their technological knowledge and skill and turned it into petrol and diesel and plastic and then they made their factories produce the consumer goods and they sold that to the rest of the world, in a circle that paid them handsomely at every point .It is now the same cycle repeating itself, but the material used in this new process is different. In other words, the process by which the West steals, coerces , exploits, controls and enriches itself, as well as consumes most of the world resources then wastes most of the world’s resources and maintains and reinvents its endless hunger for domination, and its destruction of people and places as well as of our planet and our space, is maintaining the same structure. And it guarantees the continuation of the structure of power and Western domination on the political, technological, military, and every other level. That is why the West will never help other countries to possess the technology they have developed. That is why they want their capital to be the leading force in making the new industrial revolution of producing clean energy and reap the reward of massive new wealth epitomized now in the legendary wealth of America’s top trillionaires and a couple of British and other Anglo-Saxon figures. So, the West is right on the verge of reinventing itself and its control and its power by inventing the third industrial revolution that will rise on the corpses of their first industrial revolution which will be turned into scraps that they will pay little dictators here and there to take and bury in their mountains, seas, or deserts.
In all this, the means of production of the new wealth generated by clean energy will be under the control of the West, and mostly the Anglo Saxons, although its sites of production could be the deserts of Arabia, as recent reports talk about a project involving Saudi Arabia and American capital and technology that will produce clean energy that can be sold to the Middle East and Europe and Africa. The point is clear only to China which is competing with the west on this level precisely, and which has the largest sites of production of energy from the sun and the largest battery production facilities. Thus, the conflict between the USA and China is not a military one but is in reality about possessing the means of production of clean energy. India lags behind now but it will become a player driven by Britain and Europe to build facilities to cut their reliance on coal and produce clean energy.
In this perspective, the real clash between the West and China is ultimately a clash between Capitalism and a socialist type of system that still assigns major roles to the state in shaping the future of the social order and the fate of the plant. China’s model that has been hugely successful so far faces the challenge of the capitalist system which assigns this role not to the state but to private business and capital as embodied in individuals like Amazon owner, Google owners, Apple’s owner, Elon Musk, the Twitters, and the little kid Sugerburger, just as individuals like Ford and Rockefeller and their like were the doyens of Capitalism in earlier formative periods.
The future for the rest of the world is, to say the least, precarious. I see high seas and dark skies and more exploitation, conflict, injustice, and possibly devastating wars. I want to be wrong, but my previous predictions and prophecies were unfortunately not.
