Friends of Alice (FoA) is anindependent publishing venture launched by bilingual writer Isabel del Rio. Although it got under way in 2015 to coincide with the 150th anniversary of the publication of “Alice in Wonderland” in 1865, it began to operate in full in 2018. It aims to publish diverse, experimental and multilingual authors who may find it difficult fitting into the distinctive niches demanded by traditional publishers. FoA stands for multiculturalism, inclusiveness and bibliodiversity, and such an approach is very much the future. Books are available on Amazon as either paperbacks or in digital format. Follow FoA on social media and check out the website www.friendsofalice.com. In the video, Isabel reads from her collection of short stories “Paradise & Hell”, published by FoA.
